Jared Smith, founder of Kentucky Trial Lawyers, is a nationally recognized trial lawyer with physical offices in Louisville and Georgetown, Kentucky. He regularly represents clients in high stakes legal matters, some of which include wrongful death, medical malpractice, negligent security, and whistleblower litigation.
In addition to practicing law, Jared has and continues to serve on the board of plaintiff’s legal organizations at the state and national levels. From 2022-2023 Jared served as Chair of the New Lawyers Division (NLD) of the American Association for Justice (AAJ). Jared also serves as District Vice President of the Kentucky Justice Association (KJA) and was awarded Board Member of the Year in 2015. As recognized by his peers, Jared Smith has been distinguished as Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine each year from 2017 through 2025. He is also a graduate of the prestigious Trial Lawyers College.
